Now with tooltips

Google Maps threw in a tidbit of extra functionality with a recent release of the Google Maps API. It's now possible to show tooltips for the individual markers. In the past, you had to write a function for that yourself or use an external library. Problem with that was that with every Google Maps upgrade, there was a chance of the javascript breaking.
Not any more.

Tehran is full of murals. And, sadly, many depict Khomeini, Khamenei or some poor soul who died, typically during the Iran-Iraq war.

That said, there are also plenty murals which are nice to look at. And murals can crop up in the strangest places, occasionally giving you a pleasant surprise.

I know, I know, if you're living in Iran, that can be quite tough. Flickr is blocked in most cities and Google Maps takes ages to download. Revolt!
